The Marathon Bag

Since I (Lisa) personally own all of the bag styles available on the Bibs2bags website, I've decided I'm going to "review" them all.  I'm starting with the Marathon Bag (aka Large Tote).  This is such a versatile bag.  Its my work bag.  I carry papers, my laptop, my lunch-pretty much anything I need for work.  The handles of my bag are ribbons from my race medals and its the perfect length for a bag like this. (not too long that you feel the bag is hanging too low, but not too short that you feel like you are getting smacked in the armpit by your bag).  I opted for the bib bottom as well.

Let me be honest-I am not kind to my bags.  I toss them around.  I plop them anywhere in my office I can find room.  I put them in the front seat of my car.  Then I toss them to the backseat of my car.  My kids step on them.   My dogs step on them.  And sit on them.  Yet my bag still looks as brand new as the day I received it.

Another feature I love about my bag is the removable lining.  Since I carry my lunch in this bag, despite my best efforts, something always spills or leaks out.  The bag is protected by the lining and I can just take out the lining and wash it.  No harm, no foul.  (My old work bag didn't have this feature and boy, was that thing nasty by the time I replaced it with my bibs2bags bag!)

Other than my bag that I use as my purse (also shown in the pictures), this bag gets the most use out of all of my bags.  Each day I am asked where I got my bag or complimented on it.  And I'm very proud to show off my accomplishments by carrying it around!

If you are looking for a rugged, work horse of a bag that can hold a lot of stuff-the Marathon Bag is the bag I'd suggest for you!!

My First Bibs2Bags Blog Post!

I decided to start a Bibs2Bags blog.  Why?  First, we have amazing product that I really want to showcase and tell everyone about! (I am listed under marketing on the website, you know).  Second, I run-a lot.  (Hence why I have every bag offered on our website!)  So through the 8 years of being an average, mediocre, middle of the pack runner, I've learned a thing or 2 about running-focused products and I'd like to share my knowledge with other.  Whether you are just starting out, or have been running a long time, I think bouncing ideas off of one another and learning from others trial and error can only help you become a better runner.
I'm open to your feedback and I'd love to hear about blog topic suggestions as well, so please feel free to comment on my posts!
